He oversees all forecasting, budgeting, and reporting and advises our executive leadership team on the financial and tax implications of operations and processes instituted across the company’s portfolio.

Throughout his career, Mr. Troia has demonstrated an unparalleled ability to guide and develop his team members into strategic financial managers and to positively and decisively impact financial operations. Prior to joining GCG, Troia held several executive-level financial leadership positions for companies with both revenue and assets under management in the billions. Most recently, he was acting corporate controller for Cetera Financial Group, the second largest network of independent financial advisors, where he worked on the divesture and sale of non-core assets in connection with its holding company’s chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. In that role was also responsible for all external, internal, and regulatory reporting matters where he gained experience working directly with regulators including FINRA and the SEC. Prior to that, he served as chief accounting officer for the parent company, Aretec Group, Inc. Earlier, Troia progressed in a number of rolls at a Fortune 500 financial services company, ultimately serving as chief financial officer for its broker-dealer subsidiary.
