Brenda Weiss is a dynamic and experienced project leader who oversees the implementation and execution of a variety of complex Canadian class action settlements. Her particular experience centers upon consumer product, medical device, and personal injury cases involving sensitive information. For more than 10 years, Ms. Weiss played an instrumental role in developing and implementing innovative process solutions to execute successfully numerous complex phases of the Indian Residential School Settlement administration, including several multilingual noticing programs, objections, opt outs, evaluations, appeals to independent bodies and to the court, and intricate diverse reporting.

Her particular experience centers upon consumer product, medical device, and personal injury cases involving sensitive information. Prior to joining the Canadian class action team, Ms. Weiss was responsible for investigating, processing and settling property, automobile and liability claims at Crawford & Company. Ms. Weiss specialized in handling liability property and liability claims for the municipalities of Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, which required familiarity with complex legal documents and procedures. At that time, Ms. Weiss gained additional continuing education in legal studies and fire and explosion investigation. She has received several recognition awards for leadership, quality and innovation.
